My lack of direction is really proving to be a limitation, not only in my ability to navigate this city, but also in my weekend runs. On our 5 mile team run this weekend, Rego and I got lost. I blame it on Mizzou girl that ran with us for the first 3/4 of a mile. Screw Mizzou! Actually, a 5 year old could have navigated this course, but not Rego and I. Somehow, and I still can't figure out how, we cut our run short by a half of a mile.
Last Saturday was my second official team run with a team breakfast to follow. Surprisingly, I've kinda taken to this early AM running thing, and I've really enjoyed being a part of a team. TNT is not necessarily the same as all the teams I participated with for 11 years of my life, but the support network is nice to have.
On another note, my donation site is up and running. See the link under "What I'm Reading." Or, visit www.active.com/donate/tmt4TNT. The response so far has been amazing! So, thank you all who have donated so far; my co-workers: Christine, Jamie, Ken, and Prill, and a former college roomie Cindy Tran. I truly appreciate all of your support. If you're reading this for the first time, welcome! Keep checking in as the m'thon training adventure unravels [insert evil laugh].
